Ben Blackwell was born in Mobile Alabama and raised on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. After graduating High School he served 10 1/2 years in the United States Air Force and Mississippi Air National Guard and worked flight-line avionics on the B-1B, C-141, and C-17 aircrafts.  After 9/11 Ben served in support of multiple counter-terrorism campaigns including Operations Northern Watch, Enduring Freedom, Noble Eagle, and various other European, & South-east Asia missions.

Upon leaving active military, Ben worked in network operations for WorldCOM in Jackson Mississippi where he personally experienced the effects of one of the largest financial, accounting, & retirement fund catastrophes in U.S. history.  This experience guided him to dedicate his life’s work to serve, protect, and secure his clients by helping them solve the problems that many advisors create by putting their clients at excessive risk based on their age, needs, and goals, while failing to properly plan for income needs, current & future tax implications, estate planning, & long term care.  His commitments to his clients include building solid relationships, communication & trust, evaluating all of their current and future needs & goals, securing their income, building a legacy for the next generation, and eliminating any unnecessary taxation. 

In his personal life, Ben’s greatest gifts are his children; Colby, Rebecca, Riley, and Trinity. In his free time, he enjoys playing in the worship band at his church, leading worship with the youth group, and volunteering with local Gulf Coast organizations.  In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family & friends, being on the water, fishing, & playing golf.
